Domaine Sainte Marie du Zit, est un producteur d’huile d’olive d’exception.

Notre oliveraie s’étale sur un sol rocailleux du flanc sud de la montagne de sidi Zid à 220m d’altitude. Bercée par la brise méditerranéenne du golf de Hammamet notre plantation se développe sur des terrasses de pierres sèches ce qui lui offre un ensoleillement optimal.

Une variation entre Chemleli et Chetoui plantée sur un lit de romarins sauvages. 

Une irrigation d’appoint se fait par une source d’eau qui coule de la montagne. A la lisière de la forêt, l’oliveraie se développe dans un équilibre naturel qui lui confère un timbre et un goût unique.

L’édition de cette année est profonde, intense et forestière.

Cette huile est le fruit d’une dure bataille entre les arbres et la sècheresse d’un long été qui s’est terminé par des averses d’automne tardives mais fraîches.
